Because I don't get much card making done on Mondays to Wednesdays I have decided that I will take part in the "What's on my work desk Wednesday" to give you a little sneak peek of some of my "in progress" projects and the rest of the clutter that adorns my work place - because there's always something there waiting to be finished.
Today is no exception and the photo above shows a teddy bear that I've started to make in a sparse mohair fabric. I haven't used sparse mohair before and, at 7" tall, this one is bigger than I normally make. The plan is to make it look like an old well-loved bear, but that may change (it usually does)!
Also, there's these cute little buttons on my table:
I bought them from Dunelm at the weekend. They were only about £1 and I thought the yellow duck button would look sweet being held by one of my mini bears. Also, if I cut the shanks off, they will make great baby card embellishments.
As I am not blessed with the luxury of a craft room, my work desk is also my dining table so I have a lovely bunch of flowers to keep my company. They were from my other half as yesterday was my wedding anniversary - my favourites ... roses and tulips.
And I just had to show this off - my new laptop bag for my netbook, which arrived yesterday and has to stay on my table because it is too cute to hide away!
An ebay bargain for £8! I just love it!
Thanks for looking, will be back with some cards very soon!
