Purple and turquoise

Purple and turquoise is a new colour combo for me but I've tried it on this card and it seems to work okay.  With this card I actually chose the paper first and coloured my image in to match the card.  Yes, I know that's the easy/proper way but more often than not, I colour my image without a care as to what I'm going to match it to.  I am then running around like a woman possessed throwing paper here, there and everywhere to find a piece to match my image ..... "its the wrong shade of pink, the flowers are to big, its not white enough aarrggghhh".

(Note to self - chose the paper first every time in order to reduce stress levels!)

So, onto the card ...... the image is from Lili of the Valley and is coloured with pro markers.  The paper was part of a scrapbooking kit that I had from QVC a few years ago (don't know who it's by - sorry).  The swirl and flowers are a Sizzix die and the other bits are all from my stash.

I've carried the outside them of the card to the inside, matching the paper and nestabilities shape and flowers.  I've also stamped the little girl's face just peeping out at the bottom.

I am going to enter the card into the following challenges:

Lili of the Valley - I used their sketch
Allsorts Challenge blog - birthdays
Crafty Cardmakers - inside out

Thanks for looking!

Amanda
