Craft Your Days Away - Easter

With all of this lovely weather we've been having, its inspired my to do some fresh, pastel coloured cards.  Unfortnately though today, the rain is here - perfect timing for the weekend but also perfect for staying indoors crafting!

My DT card is for the challenge over at Craft Your Days Away which is Easter and it runs for the next two weeks.

We are being sponsored by the StampFairy Shop for this challenge, who have a lovely collection of cute digis, and they are offering a $10 voucher to one lucky winner.  I've used their image Easter Bunnies 1:1 and coloured it with pro markers.

I am going to enter this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Catz - Use a digi
Simply Create too - Eggs and/or bunnies

Ruby's Rainbow DT Card - Easter

Its almost that time of year again!  Are we ready for all of those chocolate Easter Eggs so soon after Christmas, Valentines Day and Mother's Day?  I don't think my waist line will ever recover!!!

At Ruby's Rainbow our challenge for the next fortnight is Easter.  So its time to dig out all of the lovely spring colours again now that the sun has made a re-appearance.

I'm looking forward to seeing your Easter craft creations.

Craft Your Days Away DT card

I'm back today with my DT card for Craft Your Days Away for our new challenge which is:

Just for men/boys + buttons

We are sponsored for this challenge by Crafty Emma's Store who's offering a £10 prize for a lucky winner to spend in her store.

Well, I could only find one green button so I've have to do boys & button.  I've chosen to use an Edwin stamp which I've coloured with pro markers.  The papers are from DCWV and the circular sentiment stamp is one that I've had for ages.  I think it may be from Stamps Away.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Ruby's Rainbow - DT card

Tracey has set a lovely challenge for us all this week at Ruby's Rainbow - she has chosen "Lace" so I thought that was a perfect opportunity to use one of my Tilda stamps.  To be quite honest, I had this one as part of the Tilda stamp club about 18 months ago and until this week, I'm ashamed to say that it had remained un-inked.

Have a peep over at the challenge blog to see what fab creations the team has come up with for this challenge.

Onto my card - here's what I used:  Tilda stamp coloured with pro markers, papers from Dovecraft Tea House pad, Fizzy Moon flowers and button and a Marianne die.   The lace was just from the haberdashery stall at the local market.  For the layout I used inspiration from one of my Tilda magazines - I think I should have embossed the white circle though.  I'll do that next time!

Craft Your Days Away DT card

I'm a bit late posting my DT card for Craft Your Days Away challenge blog - I should have posted it this morning but I spent the day shopping in Worcester.  Better late than never!  Then I switch my computer on and its dowloaded IE9 again which I really dislike so I've had to sort that out again, grrrhh!

Anyway, our current challenge is: MOTHER'S DAY as we will be celebrating it in the UK in two week's time.

We are sponsored by Meljen Designs for this challenge and they are offering a prize to one lucky winner of 4 digital images from her SHOP.  I always love it when I get a Meljen's digi to play with and I've used a fab bird cage digi from her this time, which I've coloured with pro markers.

I made a cross over card for this challenge (following a tutorial from Bev Rochester's blog).  I printed out a "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment on the insert.  The paper roses are all from my stash and the peach flower is from Prima.

I am going to enter this card into the following challenges:

Allsorts - Spread your wings
Sparkles forum - Things with wings

Thanks for looking today and I look forward to seeing your mother's day makes.

Cardmadfairy's Digi Days Challenge DT card

I'm back today with my DT card for Cardmadfairy's Digi Days challenge with a beautiful bird digi available in the online shop - love this digi!  The challenge is Mum's The Word - so we are looking for your Mother's Day makes - just remember that you need to include a digi.

I added a little jewel for the bird's eye and do you like the bow?  I found a great video tutorial HERE on Bev Rochester's blog - such an inspiring place to visit!

The paper is from a stack by DCVW and is called Latte.

I did print out a Mother's Day sentiment too but cut it out wrong with my grand calibur.  Next time I do some printing, its going to be done again and put in the space in the bottom left-hand corner.  Maybe I could have got away with that but never mind, we all make mistakes!

I'm looking forward to seeing your Mother's Day makes too - join us in the challenge!

Sparkles Christmas challenge DT card and blog hop winner

The new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenge blog for the month of March is Use Peel Offs.  I used to use my peel offs all of the time but haven't used them for ages - so I dug them out and made this quick and easy card.

Pop over to the challenge blog to see the winners from our February blog hop, including the winner for my commenter's candy.  Congratulations and thank you to all who took part.

We have two fab sponsors for this month's challenge.  Joanna Sheen is offering one lucky winnner a £10 voucher to spend in her on line store.

Our second sponsor is the lovely Pink Gem Designs and they are offering a fab prize of four of their great digis.

I think the peel offs I've used are from Dawn Bibby Designs but I'm not 100% sure.  I matted the green tree peel off onto some holographic card and cut around it.  A few jewels and a plant pot later, card finished.  Like I said, quick and easy!

Don't forget to join in with our latest challenge, thanks for looking today,

Amanda
